I've just got back from Gdansk where I was invited to test the prototype of the new trimaran from Bond Yachts, the TNT 34.
As I have to go to San Fransisco tomorrow I have no time to reveal what I discovered to you nor to edit together any video. Sorry about that. But watch this space.
When I was there the new MC30 motorcat was also launched. More about that too here soon.
After my visit to Poland I flew to Stockholm to meet with Gunnar Svensson, who owns the first ever Catri, which he showed me. He's had it for 15 years. We had a good chat about multihulls. More on this later too.
Finally I went to Riga to visit Aldis Eglajs, the designer of the CATRI 24 that I sailed back from Latvia to the UK in 2005. Sadly there is no CATRI in production at the moment.
But if you want the latest trimaran with the latest innovation in folding systems then look no further than the TNT 34. The prototype is to be shipped to Vancouver for proving tests by its designer, Jerry Konstanski, of Bond Yachts and if you order now then you could have one in 8 months time, ready for the Australian season!
